Drama Electives:Several courses allow students to explore their passion for both performance and producation.
9th Grade Musical: An annual production each spring involving every member of the class, the production builds children's respect for one another, bringing the students closer together.
Poley Drama Festival: A springtime tradition offering a collection of scenes and monologues that students have chosen based on their reading and discussions.
Fall, Winter and Spring Performances: Fall offers a challenging drama based on a theme of interest to the GFS community. In winter, a farce or musical is traditionally performed. The spring production is typically a musical with a full musical involving the GFS Chorus and a professional choreographer every third year. Recent productions have included West Side Story and most recently as pictured above,Oklahoma.
Faculty/Staff Show: Faculty, staff and administrators perform for the entire GFS community. South Pacific was the most recent success!
Independent Productions: Dramatic performances are often the focus of a Directed Independent Study, Junior Project of Senior Project.
