Germantown Friends School is accepting applications for the position of Head Coach for its highly competitive, championship-winning Varsity Track and Field Program. GFS is looking for a skilled leader, mentor and communicator, with proven coaching experience, to help continue to build on a strong tradition of success. Collegiate experience is preferred, including running, jumps, throws, sprints and hurdles.  Candidate must be extremely organized, demonstrating the ability to maintain a competitive team and overall program while adhering to the values of the school and the Friends Schools League. The Head Coach will also have the responsibility of overseeing the entire track and field program (grades 6-12), working with other coaches within the program to establish consistent philosophies and teaching methods, and will be expected to assist fellow coaches with coaching development.

Germantown Friends School is accepting applications for the part-time position of Strength & Conditioning Coach for its highly competitive sports program. GFS is looking for a skilled leader, mentor and communicator, with proven experience in fitness and/or strength training, to help continue to build on a strong tradition of success through student-athlete development. Athletic/Personal Training experience and Weight Training Certificate is preferred. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to maintain a structured and productive environment while adhering to the values of the school. The Training Coach will also have the responsibility of overseeing the entire strength and conditioning program (grades 9-12), working with other coaches and teams within the Athletic Department to establish consistent philosophies and teaching methods, and will be expected to assist fellow coaches with fitness and strength development.
