The start of the Germantown Friends 18th Annual School Middle School Cross Country Invitational, held at Belmont Plateau. In 2004 the event included 11 schools and 169 runners. This years winner was Germantown Friends School. The GFS Middle School Cross Country Invitational encourages athletic development at the middle school level and helps to build stronger varsity teams.

 




Middle School sports will run Monday through Thursday, each week, regardless of rainy weather. While games and meets with other schools may be cancelled when it rains, sports practice will be held regardless of weather. Practice will be moved indoors to gyms on the Main Campus when it is too wet to practice at Field. Practice will end at 3:45 and pick up time will be 4:00 as usual. To determine whether pick up will be at Field or the Main Campus, check the hotline on the website at germantownfriends.org or call the GFS main desk at 215-851-2300. GFS private buses will also leave from Main Campus.
