| The Role of the Coach
- Advise the student through the recruiting process.
- Provide counseling to steer the athlete toward schools that match his/her level of play.
- Educate the athlete and the parents on the differences among Division I, II, and III. Differences include the recruiting process, scholarships and the levels of play.
- Advise the student whether or not a video is necessary or; if yes, advise him/her about the content of the video that will be sent to the college coaches.
- Supply information about the various camps, leagues and other venues for exposure to college coaches and their programs.
- Contact college coaches to recommend the athlete.
