The bus ride turned into the most exciting part of the day as the Tigers were flat and fell to last years State Champions 10-0

Giving up twice as many homeruns as you have hits is not a good formula for victory and it didn't work for the Tigers. The Mercersburg bats connected for 13 hits and dominated the day. The Tigers didn't play poorly, they were just flat. Understandable after the thrill of the league championship and the long bus ride.

Its hard to end a wonderful season on a sour note, but even as Mercersburg was hammering ball out of the the ball yard, the team, as a team, fought to find itself and get back into the game. This time it wasn't to be. The team had a wonderfully successful and record setting year that culminated with an unprecedented third crown. Well done, and wait until next year!
