Groundbreaking for GFS Science Classroom Building

The Groundbreaking for the GFS Science Classroom Building took place on October 27, 2007.

Clerk of School Committee David A. West ’49 said, "The urgent need for a new upper school science facility inspired an unprecedented level of capital support last year. We are deeply grateful to these early donors for their gifts. However, a building of this size and complexity is costly and presents the GFS community with a big hill to climb in order to fund its timely completion. It is our faith in the steadfast generosity and dedication of our constituents that allows us to move forward with confidence."
