On the final day of competition at the National Scholastic Indoor Track & Field Championship in New York City, Max Kaulbach continued his incredible season, winning the National Title in the 2-Mile, finishing in a blistering 9:02.65!  Kaulbach's time was good for more than a 10 second personal best, and sets the All-Time PA mark by more than 3 seconds!


On Saturday, at the National Scholastic Indoor Track & Field Championship in New York City, the GFS Boys 4xMile Relay team of Max Kaulbach ('08), Isaac Ortiz ('08), and brothers Jake ('08) and Gus ('10) McKenzie, ran the 10th fastest time in history, setting the all-time PA mark in the process, coming in at 17:34.25!  The race saw the top three teams finish with the 3rd, 7th and 10th fastest times ever!

The Germantown Friends School Boys Basketball Team (2-1) lost a tough, hard-fought game to Germantown High School, 67-62, in the championship game of the 18th Annual Germantown Community Basketball Tournament on Saturday at GFS.

The Girls Varsity Basketball team dominated Wheaton High School (Maryland) on Friday in a 64-27 win.  On Saturday evening the girls played a challenging opponent in Jenkintown High School and won 42-31. 

Shelby Tucker was named to the All Tournament Team and fellow teammate, Marisol McKee, was named to the All Tournament Team while also earning the Most Valuable Player of the Robert Hopf Tournament at Jenkintown High School.
