| Girls Varsity Basketball over Friends Select 52-14

| The girls varsity basketball team began the Friends Schools League schedule with a 52-14 victory over Friends Select. The team stormed out to a 18-2 first quarter lead and never looked back. The Tigers were led by Sophomore Shelby Tucker and Senior Marisol McKee with 8 and 6 points each in the first quarter. Shelby Tucker continues her unselfish play distributing the ball and playing solid defense. Marisol was joined by Junior Jasmine West and Senior Talitha Smith as the Tigers dominated the boards. Sophomore Maddie McFerrin had a career high of 5 points.
The team plays a good Hill School team today at 4:15 in the Scattergood Gym.
