The GFS Varsity baseball team concluded the best season in its history when it was named runner-up in the PAISAA State Championships on May 29.  After winning the Friends Schools League Championship on May 22, the team pounded out three more victories in the PAISAA playoffs and made it all the way to the final game.  Not only did the team go further than ever before, but it finished with its best record (21-8).
