GFS 21, Episcopal 48

 

In the first dual meet of the new year , the GFS wrestling team lost to Episcopal by 21 to 48.  In spite of great effort from our nine participants, having to forfeit in five weight classes prevented us from being victorious.

 

Captain Jesse Furukawa and co-captain Nathaniel Rabin won thier matches easily, and GFS won more matches than Episcopal. The other winners were Luke Furukawa at 119, Shimpei Kurokawa at 140, James Hall at 152, and Nicholas Davis at 125 pounds.
