When did you come to GFS?
I'm a "Lifer".
How many years have you been a student tour guide?
What is your favorite aspect of GFS and why?
I've always experienced a remarkable level of respect between students and faculty at GFS. I think it's pretty cool to be in an environment where I am as comfortable talking to and approaching my teachers as I am with my peers.
What extracurricular activities or student groups do you participate in?
Varsity Cross Country and Track & Field, Mock Trial, Writing Advisor, SAC, Manos Ayudantes, Earthquake.
What has been your favorite GFS experience?
This is nearly an impossible question to answer definitively. One experience that stands out to me is during my freshman year; rallying back from a 40+ point deficit (which is a lot) to win the FSL Outdoor Track & Field Championship in the very last event of the meet.
Parents often ask: "What makes GFS unique?" How would you answer that question?
I do believe that the community at GFS—student to student, faculty to student, faculty to faculty—is unrivaled. Everybody has a place to thrive.
