Jake Abraham '92 Produces National Geographic Series

    Posted April 19, 2012

Jake Abraham '92 has been producing a documentary TV series for the National Geographic Channel (through Stick Figure Prods.) called Amish: Out Of Order. This ten-part series offers an unprecedented glimpse into the difficult and complex lives of Amish boys and girls (mostly teenagers) that find themselves needing to escape their isolated homesteads for the outside world, usually without money, an education or family support. At the same time, the series explores rarely seen and discussed facets of Amish life, from our fascination with the Amish to their portrayal in the media. Here is the website which is worth a look: http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/amish-out-of-order/?source=redir_sub_amish
