Early Morning Basketball for 4th & 5th Grades!
Early Risers is a voluntary sports program that provides opportunities for young athletes to have fun while learning fundamental skills and playing basketball in a cooperative environment.
The program is led by Shawn Werdt, Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach. He is in his third year of coaching the Tigers, and he teaches in the GFS PE department.
Early Risers is for boys and girls in grades 4 and 5. It takes place Tuesday mornings from 7:30-8:00 a.m. in the Scattergood and Field House Gyms. The first session is November 10, 17, 24; December 1 and 8. The second session is February 9, 16, 23; March 1, and 8. The cost is $10 a session (+ $10 for an Early Risers t-shirt). The deadline to register for session 1 is November 9.
