As the summer beckons to students and faculty alike, all three grades of the Middle School enjoy annual trips as a way to celebrate the memories, challenges and accomplishments of the past school year.
Sixth graders return to where their first year in Middle School began for them with a fun day at Hickory Run State Park. The seventh graders prepare for taking on their new role as leaders of the Middle School by first tackling the death-defying roller coasters at Dorney Park. For the eighth graders and their teachers who spend a day and night at Pine Forest Camp in Greenley, Pa., these last moments are divided between simple fun, happy nostalgia and a bit of sadness as they share their last campfire and Meeting for Worship as a class before they move on to high school. Goodbyes to friends that will not be returning are always difficult, but serve as a tribute to community and the closeness of the bonds between us.
Have a wonderful and safe summer everyone.
