Back-to-School Nights

It’s that time of year again... When parents go back to school! Back-to-School Nights, which occur in each division, are a great opportunity for parents to gather information about the upcoming school year and hear opening remarks by Dick Wade, Head of School, Barbara Overholser, this year’s Parents’ Association Chair, and the division principals. The general meetings will be followed by class meetings (for grades K-6), led by your child's classroom teacher, and grade meetings (for grades 7-12), led by grade advisors, who will provide information about the academic demands and rhythms of the grade as well as the social and non-academic aspects.

While the Lower School has only one Back-to-School Night, the Middle and Upper School’s program is divided into two evenings. On the second night, parents are invited to follow their childrens' schedules and circulate between the various classrooms to meet each subject teacher.

All parents are strongly encouraged to attend Back-to-School Nights.
