Each June for the past five decades, the fourth grade students celebrate Greek Day as the culmination of their year-long study of Ancient Greece. They design chitons, design and paint signs representing their city state, write prayers to the Gods and train for the day’s sporting events. Parents and students prepare a veritable Greek feast, which they enjoy together after the day's competition. It’s a special and exciting day for everyone involved!
This year’s Greek Day takes place on Wednesday, June 5.
