The nation’s top craft artists will once again exhibit their work at the 29th Annual Germantown Friends School Juried Craft Show. The show is ranked among the top 10 percent of the nation’s craft shows by the authoritative ArtFair SourceBook.The GFS Craft Show is located on the campus of Germantown Friends School, at Germantown Avenue and Coulter Street in Philadelphia. 

Friday, March 1, Preview Party - 6-9 p.m., $35 in advance, $40 at the door

Saturday, March 2 - 10 a.m.-6 p.m., $10 (Students 18 & under FREE)
 
Sunday, March 3 - 12-5 p.m., $10 (Students 18 & under FREE)
 
Proceeds from the Craft Show benefit the GFS Community Scholars Program, established in 1965, and the General Scholarship Fund.

Applying to the Craft Show

The application for the 2013 GFS Juried Craft Show will be available July 1 at www.zapplication.org.
 
Zapp is a service of the nonprofit Western States Arts Federation in partnership with a series of fine art and fine craft fairs across the country. Through Zapp, an artist creates and maintains a profile and portfolio of images free-of-charge. With a click of a button, the artist can then apply to shows, fairs and festivals nationwide.
 
The application fee for the 2013 GFS Juried Craft Show is $25, payable by credit card through Zapp. If an artist chooses to apply in two different categories, two applications and two application fees must be submitted. The application deadline is Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Three images of artwork and a booth image must accompany your application.
 
Once an artist has juried into the show, the booth fee is $500 for a standard 10 x 10 booth and $700 for a corner booth. The booth fee for Emerging Local Artists is $250.
