Multicultural Parents Alliance
The Multicultural Parents’ Alliance (MPA) operates under the umbrella of the general Parents’ Association and is a subgroup of ethnic minority parents and white parents who are parenting ethnic minority children or children of color. We work with the faculty and the administration on multicultural initiatives, such as faculty diversity training, organizing social activities for parents of color and acting as advocates for parents on student diversity issues. We also promote dialogue on diversity topics to engage the larger parent community. For more information, please contact the parent co-chairs or the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
GFS Multicultural Parents’ Alliance Mission Statement

Specifically, the MPA aims to educate the GFS community on its multicultural make-up, works with the GFS administration and faculty to ensure multicultural perspectives are honored, acts as an advocate for diversity within the GFS community, and fosters dialogue on multicultural issues within the GFS community.
