Germantown Friends School is accepting applications for a Middle School Assistant Wrestling Coach. Applicants need to be good communicators with a positive coaching philosophy and proven coaching experience. A high level of technical experience is preferred (high-level high school, collegiate, or beyond). Candidates should be knowledgeable about the latest techniques that apply to wrestling and training, and they should be current on topics such as injury prevention and concussion-management protocols, as well as strength and conditioning. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to coach in a positive manner and adhere to the values of the school and the Friends Schools League.
This is a part-time position from mid-November - February. MS Wrestling runs every weekday afternoon from 2:00-3:30 p.m., plus matches. Daily availability at these times is essential.
