April 23: A Reading with Eco-Poet Forrest Gander
We are honored to welcome Pulitzer Prize winner and translator Forrest Gander to the Friends Free Library on Thursday, April 23, at 7 p.m.
With degrees in both geology and literature, Gander is a leading voice in "environmental poetics," often exploring the intimate, complex intersections between humanity and the natural world. He will read from his latest work, Mojave Ghost: A Novel-Poem, followed by a book signing.
