Kellan White ’04 Featured as This Year’s Mercer Tate ’48 Lecturer for Public Service
For our annual Mercer Tate ’48 Lecture for Public Service, we welcomed Kellan White ’04, the First Deputy City Controller to Rebecca Rhynhart, Controller of the City of Philadelphia. Kellan discussed his work as a public servant, how to leave a positive legacy behind, and the ability to pay it forward and create change ourselves rather than “waiting on Superman.”
He told us that “your legacy is the impact you make on your community, school, on your neighborhood every day … the more you do to positively impact people, the stronger and more long-lasting your legacy.” If you weren’t able to join us virtually, you can view the recording!
