Tiger Indoor Track Off to a Roaring Start!

Tiger Indoor Track Off to a Roaring Start!

What an outstanding opening meet for Germantown Friends Athletics! The Tigers burst onto the track with energy, focus, and confidence; clear signs of a special season ahead. Big-time performances highlighted the day, including Zahara Brown ‘26 taking first in the shot put, Emi Wong Shing ‘27 winning the hurdles, Paris DeBose ‘26 soaring to victory in the high jump, and Jada Wells ‘27 claiming her section of the 400. Our sprints group set the tone early, absolutely flying in the 55m dash, with strong efforts up and down the lineup.

The podium finishes kept coming as Elle Pepersack ‘29 earned second place in the mile and Max Hillyer ‘27 secured second in the pole vault. An exciting start for the Tigers, and plenty to build on as the team heads into winter break before returning to competition in early January.
