Make a New Year’s Resolution to Return Overdue Library Books!

Now through this Friday, January 16, the Friends Free Library will gladly accept any overdue, slightly overdue, or long-overdue items—no questions asked.

Not sure if you have an overdue item? Automated overdue notices are emailed each Sunday morning from the Friends Free Library email address (library@germantownfriends.org). If you'd like to check your account to be sure, just stop by the reference desk where you can confirm what titles you currently have checked out.

At the end of the overdue book drive, a $15 replacement fee per item will be charged for any library materials that were due before November 1, 2025, that have not been returned (or renewed). These fees help to replace missing items.

This does not apply to any students who are off campus for Junior Projects or traveling on one of the international trips. Please drop your books off at the library desk when you return to campus at the end of the month.
