J-Term Prints for Progress Highlights Social Change Through Visual Art
Upper School students in the J-Term Prints for Progress class have been studying visual artists who create work based on social change. They designed images on paper that address important social concerns and they are currently printing their designs on fabric.
“My design focuses on people in prison and those who have been through traumatic experiences,” says Sylvia ’25. “Telling your story can evoke empathy in others and it’s a wonderful form of therapy. It’s amazing to see people bond over storytelling.”
