The GFS community came out in full force on Valentine’s Day. 

Thanks to the joyous and generous spirit of the GFS community, both on campus and online, this year's Giving Day broke a record. For 24 hours, students, faculty, staff, parents, grandparents, alumni and friends rallied to raise more than $340,000 - our highest ever amount, and reach our goal of 500 gifts, too, for a total of 591. 

All money raised on Giving Day goes to support the Annual Fund and benefits our students and teachers this year – for field trips, faculty professional development, visual and performing arts programs, DEI priorities, and more. 

Giving Day 2024 by the numbers:

• 34% increase in total amount raised: $340,000+
• 20% increase in total gifts made: 590
• 39% increase in faculty and staff giving 
• $800 raised by the Upper School Bake Sale
• Top 5 states for # of donors: Pennsylvania, California, New York, Massachusetts, and New Jersey

• US A Cappella performing a rendition of "Witness Me"
• And around campus, we celebrated love for GFS!
