In November, our Upper School Theatre Department put on a thought-provoking showing of Frank Wedekind’s Awakening of Spring. Theatre Department Chair Jake Miller noted, "GFS Theatre has a long tradition of choosing plays that speak to the social and cultural consciousness of the time. The popular Broadway musical adaptation gave it some name recognition, and the themes were strikingly relevant to today. We also used the opportunity to illuminate parts of our existing health education curriculum, and to encourage meaningful discussion."
