Each year, GFS hosts a number of local holiday food drives, practicing the Quaker tenets of stewardship and community. Divisions partner with local nonprofit organizations, including the Holsey Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Covenant House Pennsylvania, St. Luke's Church, and Whosoever Gospel Mission. This season, the annual Halloween candy drive, led by the Community Action Club, collected six bins of candy for donation to several of these organizations!
In addition to supporting the drives, you can help deliver non-perishable food items to families this holiday season. See below for volunteer and donation requests and please consider supporting more than one! You may contact Kathy Paulmier at email@example.com with any questions.
