Manolo Sanchez '10, who played pro soccer, has returned to his roots to coach soccer at GFS.
Head Coach Sam McIlvain says of Manolo, "He really cares about teaching people, even helping beginners learn the basics."
Manolo says, "Coaching is so satisfying because I can help kids do something better than I could. You never know who someone can turn out to be."
This past season, with both Sam and Manolo at the helm, the Varsity Boys team won their first Friends League title in 11 years.
