Before our students depart for their summer vacation or transition to summer camps here on campus, I wanted to share a note of joy and appreciation.
Thinking back on the year, I smile at so many memories of our students sharing their talents and voices through music, art, community engagement, teamwork, and dialogue. I think about this year's plays and musicals, Science Night, and recent All-School Meeting for Worship.
I am grateful for our faculty and staff, who exhibit an unflagging commitment to nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of our students, supporting them through academic achievement and personal growth.
I am grateful for our parents, families, and caregivers, who not only believe in our program and culture, but also support GFS with deep trust, partnership, and engagement.
Finally, I am grateful for all of our students, who move me every day through their words, actions, and care for one another. Our students are at the heart of all we do, and their evolving process of learning and discovery keeps us striving.
Recently, we shared our strategic vision for the future of our school. I know, with our strong, committed community, that we can make these aspirations a reality.
I wish you a joyful summer and I look forward to hearing about your adventures with family and friends when we return in the fall!
