Welcome to Week 5 of the Great GFS Bake Off!
Here are the results from granola week. We were impressed by everyone's creativity and resourcefulness—way to dig deep into those pantries!
This week we're focusing on that meal of champions: breakfast! Oh, how we love delicious baked breakfast treats. It's not cake, it's a muffin, and that's why we get to eat it at 7 am.!
We challenge you to whip up an exciting breakfast bake: muffins, scones, buns (cinnamon, sticky, morning, etc.), biscuits, danish, even ... dare we suggest ... bagels? In truth, there are too many items to list!
It's up to you if you want to go sweet or savory, and there's always the option to make waffles.
There are so many recipes out there—and you may already have a go-to—but if you need inspiration, here are a few links to some master/basic recipes that have great tips for adjusting:
