Students in senior studio art will be curating and exhibiting works in a show at IMPeRFeCT Gallery, opening on Saturday, 4/21, 4-6 p.m. We especially encourage you to attend this opening, and then head over to Jazz Night at Loeb at 7 p.m.
The theme of the show explores the number 18, what it means, feels, and looks like to be 18 in the year 2018. The show will include diverse works, including installation, video, drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography.
Additionally, photographer Scott Foley of the GFS Communications Department, will be sharing images from the trip to the African Leadership Academy in South Africa this past January. These evocative images will be able to go home with you, as Scott is selling 300 4"x6" prints for a suggested donation $1 each, along with other larger print options, and all proceeds will go to one of GFS's Global Studies scholarship funds for students who require financial aid to study abroad.
The show will run from April 21 to May 12.
