What's cool about our campus is that it's spread out over seven acres in Philadelphia's historic neighborhood of Germantown. The buildings are an eclectic mix of old and new, a unique look and feel more consistent with a college campus. With three gyms, three auditoriums, a student center, numerous open, green spaces and nine classroom buildings, it's a place worthy of adoration and exploration. The Meetinghouse, at the center of it all, provides a beautiful and spiritual focal point.

Twenty-Eight GFS Fall Athletes Named to All-League Teams; Nine Earn All-State Honors

Congratulations to the GFS student-athletes who earned All-League honors, a recognition of their outstanding performance among student-athletes in the nine-member Friends Schools League. 


Congratulations to the GFS student-athletes who earned All-League honors, a recognition of their outstanding performance among student-athletes in the nine-member Friends Schools League. 

In addition to earning All-League honors, Margaret Harvey '23 was named to the All-State Girls Soccer Team. Honorees are comprised of elite student-athletes selected from all Pennsylvania public, independent, and charter schools by league coaches.

Eight cross country runners also earned All-State accolades. In the Girls division, First Team honors went to Anna Macdonald '22 and Annika Marcelis '22; Second Team honors to Katya Henisz '23 and Emma Nam '23. In the Boys Division, First Team honors went to Simon Donovan '23 and Shuford Kirk '23; Second Team honors to Mason Kresloff '25 and Charlie Brodkin '22. All-State honorees were based on performance at the PAISAA State Cross Country Meet earlier this month.
