Matthew Stitt ’05, Director of PFM's Management and Budget Consulting team, was recently appointed to the GFS School Committee. A leader in public finance, Stitt specializes in national equitable recovery and strategic financial initiatives, and recently launched the Center for Budget Equity and Innovation at PFM. Previously, he served as the chief financial officer for the City Council of Philadelphia.
Zoë Rankin ’06, founder and lead consultant for Balanced Education Strategy, was also appointed to the GFS School Committee this year. She previously served as the Managing Director of External Impact at KIPP Philadelphia, where she led development and strategic communications, and worked at the U.S. Department of Education as a political appointee during the Obama Administration. Rankin has also held roles at Uncommon Schools and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.
