The GFS Athletics Department recently welcomed new intern Krista LaMaina! She is a current graduate student at Neumann University, where she is studying to attain her master’s degree in sports business. Krista received her bachelor’s degree from Kean University in 2018, where she majored in global fitness and wellness. While at Kean, she played both Varsity Field Hockey and Lacrosse.
Currently, Kritsta serves as a mobility specialist at Restore Hyper Wellness + Cryotherapy, where she helps clients increase flexibility, mobility, and range of motion, throughout the muscles of the body, and helps increase their overall health and wellness. Krista also serves as the assistant coach, and strength and conditioning coach, for the Neumann University Women’s Lacrosse team. She assists the head coach in practices and with administrative duties, while preparing workouts for athletes in pre-season, regular-season, and the off-season.
Krista adds, “I am not only a coach to make my athletes better lacrosse players, but also to make them better women, and teach life lessons to help them strive for greatness. I am very passionate about athletics and I am hoping to build a career in it after graduating from Neumann University.” We are thrilled to have Krista as a new addition to our Tigers family!
