Advising & Support
Each Upper School grade has a grade dean and team of advisors responsible for holistically supporting the overall experience of every student and acting as the primary liaisons between families and the school.
Advisory groups meet each morning and routinely throughout the school schedule, forming a consistent and vital community structure. During morning advisory, attendance is taken, announcements are made and there is time for small group discussion. Specifically designed grade-level advisory curricula are addressed through longer opportunities within the weekly schedule.
Additional student support is facilitated by the Upper School division director, learning specialists, school psychiatrist, counselors, and school nurses.
