When did you come to GFS?
I'm a "Lifer."
How many years have you been a student tour guide?
What is your favorite aspect of GFS and why?
I really enjoy that everyone knows each other or is friends with one another. I have never been in a class where I have felt uncomfortable because I didn't know anyone.
What extracurricular activities or student groups do you participate in?
I am a Chaverim leader, a Varsity member and captain of the GFS rowing team, in the Knit-a-Square club, and in the Ecobricks club.
What has been your favorite GFS experience?
My favorite GFS experience was in January when we had a day in-service where we learned about war and how to address it in peaceful ways. The speaker showed really powerful images and I am really happy that I could witness how powerful that day was for everyone that had the opportunity to be there.
Parents often ask: "What makes GFS unique?" How would you answer that question?
I have never been in a situation at GFS where I felt uncomfortable, whether it is with my friends, or while addressing a teacher, or just walking around campus. I think that is one of the reasons why GFS has such a close community, and why everyone feels safe sharing things that are important to them.
