How many years have you been a student tour guide?
What is your favorite thing about GFS and why?
My favorite thing about GFS is the plethora of communities that I am able to be a part of. Whether it's grade-wide, school-wide, or based on the extracurriculars that I do, I've found myself a part of so many tight-knit groups. I really value the emphasis that GFS puts on creating strong, long-lasting relationships with the communities we are a part of, and the encouragement we receive to find others who share the same passions.

What has been your favorite GFS experience? What made it so special?
Being a member of GFS A Cappella has been my favorite experience at GFS. It's a small group (20 people) of incredibly talented singers and musicians. It's a big time commitment, but we all love it so much that it doesn't matter. We spend hours every week singing, which is one of my favorite things to do. We perform fun, upbeat songs, and it's so obvious to the audience that we love what we are capable of creating together. Being a part of GFS a cappella and having the honor of being able to direct for the group has been amazing. I have made so many friends, both in my grade and out. I wouldn't trade the experience I have had with this group for anything.
Parents often ask: "What makes GFS unique?" How would you answer that question?
I think GFS is an environment where students are able to create life-long relationships and connections. Going to a small school like GFS might at first glance seem confining, but I realize that I wouldn't want to have it any other way. High school is stressful no matter where you go, but GFS has made it eternally easier. I have been able to become close with my teachers. I know that I can go to them if I have any problem. Additionally, being in a class of about 85, I have been able to create a relationship with everyone in my class. As I look into senior year, I have no idea where I would be if I wasn't able to create the friendships and academic relationships that I did.
