Alumni

Congratulations to the Class of 2025, our newest alumni!

WElcome Home, Tigers!

No matter how far you’ve journeyed since graduating from Germantown Friends School, you are always welcome back! We are here for you.

Join us to celebrate, network, and reconnect. Revisit your favorite spots on campus, challenge your ideas at a speaker event, and check in with your mentors and friends. This is where you forged your lifelong passion for learning and community, built lasting friendships, and developed your unique voice and ability to think critically. Together, we can make this transformative experience possible for students today, and generations to come.

This space is for you. Stay on top of the latest campus news, read about our amazing faculty and students, explore upcoming events, and engage with the GFS community.

LOOKING BACK AT ALUMNI WEEKEND

We are incredibly grateful to the 475+ GFS alumni, retired and current faculty and staff, and friends who were able to join us on and off campus for Alumni Weekend 2025.

The celebration kicked off on Thursday with a reception for alumni of color that included a few members of our current and retired faculty and staff. On Friday, alumni were joined by parents, faculty, and staff for a salon-style grand opening of the All School Commons where they were able to explore everything the new building has to offer–including its renovated dining hall, art and science rooms, film and photography facilities, courtyard, and a phenomenal show titled "Friends in Common" in the Barbara and David Loeb Performing Arts Center, featuring Eric Bazilian '71, and talent from throughout the GFS community.

The sun came out after a brief rain on Saturday for class gatherings, photos, the West Award, the dedication of the Front Steps to David and Susan Quillen West (now lovingly known as the "West Portico"), and the retirement of Jonathan Haynes' (Class of 1990) #21 basketball jersey. We capped it off on Sunday, joining Meeting for Worship, and enjoying the all-school choral concert. Go Tigers!

Thank you to the generous supporters who've helped make this incredible space a reality!

For more from the weekend, check out our tribute video to Haynes and the full Alumni Weekend photo album.

We hope to see you back on campus for Alumni Weekend 2026: May 14-17!
