GFS Wins the Felsen Cup!
GFS Athletics clinched the Felsen Cup for the third year in a row! This is GFS’ 18th overall Felsen Cup win, bringing the all-time standings to 18-15-1 with Friends' Central School. Through all three seasons of athletics, the schools engage in friendly athletic competition across 18 varsity teams.
The cup is awarded annually to the school which wins the majority of regular-season varsity games. The cup is named in honor of David M. Felsen—parent of two GFS alumni—who taught, coached, and was an administrator at GFS from 1966-1988 and Head of School at Friends’ Central from 1988 to 2011. Congratulations to all of our teams who contributed to this historic win!
