A tradition of excellence. The Varsity Boys Cross Country team has won 23 of the last 25 FSL Championships.
Girls Cross Country
The Varsity Girls Cross Country team is consistently a top contender in the Friends School League.
Field Hockey
GFS’ tradition of field hockey is deeply rooted. A new generation of leaders are working to put the Tigers back at the top of the FSL.
Boys Soccer
The Varsity Boys Soccer team won the 2026 FSL Championships defeating Westtown in penalty kicks after a 0-0 end of regulation.
Girls Soccer
The Varsity Girls Soccer team advanced to the Semi's of the FSL League tournament in 2026.
Girls Tennis
The Varsity Girls Tennis team won the FSL crown in 2023, the second time in three years.
Winter Sports
Boys Basketball
The Varsity Boys Basketball team has produced all-state and collegiate players, and advanced to the PAISAA State Tournament last year.
Girls Basketball
The Varsity Girls Basketball team won the 2025 Germantown Community Tournament and earned the programs 2nd ever PAISAA State Tournament win.

The Varsity Boys Indoor Track & Field team has a legacy of producing top athletes who qualify for regional and national indoor events.

Boys Squash
The Varsity Boys Squash team earned a first round win in the 2026 U.S. National Squash Tournament.

The Varsity Girls Squash team finished First at the 2026 U.S. National High School Team Championships in Division III.
Wrestling
The Varsity Wrestling team continues to build on their success as a program. Three wrestlers were awarded All-League Honors and two finished Top 10 at National Prep Wrestling Championships.

The Crew program continues to establish themselves as a premier program as they compete and medal at local, regional, and national events.
Baseball
The Varsity Baseball Team qualified for the PAISAA State Championship in 2026.
Lacrosse
The 2026 Varsity Lacrosse team has amassed a 36-0 league record over the last four years. The Tigers have captured the FSL title six times in a row.
Softball
The Varsity Softball team finished 5-0 in their division and 7-3 overall in 2026. Softball practices and plays their home games at La Salle University softball field.
Boys Tennis
Varsity Boys Tennis recorded its eighth FSL title in nine years in 2026.

The Varsity Boys Track & Field team finished 2nd in the 2026 FSL championship meet.
Girls Track & Field
Varsity Girls Track & Field captured the 2026 FSL title medaling in 16 of the 18 events.
Golf
Launched in spring 2023, the Varsity Golf team finished third in the 2026 FSL Championships. The first all girls match for GFS was played this season.
