Crain’s New York Business recently highlighted Carol Baldwin Moody ’74 in its list of 2022 Notable Black Leaders. As the chief executive of Legal Momentum, which fights for women’s legal rights, Carol oversees the strategic implementation of the nonprofit’s mission. Under her leadership, Legal Momentum created a resource for low-income women that informs them of their rights. Carol also spearheads the Rights Now! program, which gives young women of color knowledge on issues related to gender-based violence and discrimination.
