In January, students in Chris Coyle's Middle School class Exploring Pop Music, and High School J-Term class Exploring African American Music had a virtual visit with guest artist, producer/writer/singer Santi White ’93 aka Santigold. She discussed the unconventional path of her music career and her unexpected creative process as an artist. Students were then given the opportunity to ask questions, which further reiterated Santigold's vast array of musical knowledge, influence, and reverence that informs her art.

Santigold has collaborated with many famed artists including Mark Ronson, the Beastie Boys, Jay-Z, and Kanye West. She has released several acclaimed solo albums since 2008 and discussed her latest, with Christopher Booker from PBS Weekend News.
