Join a live student performance of their original compositions.

 6-7:30 p.m. | Alumni Welcome Reception and Exhibition Opening | Under the Tent on the Campus Common

Gather with fellow alumni from across the years for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and GFS-style cheer!

You can also enjoy a special tribute exhibition, 'Wisdom Beauty Simplicity', by the late Alden Mellor (Denny) Heck '63, alumna and former art teacher, in the front hall of the Main Building.

Take to the baseball fields or cheer from the stands.

11:15 a.m. | All-Alumni Gathering | Meetinghouse

Join fellow alumni for a Meeting for Worship followed by the presentation of the 2024 West Alumni Award to this year's recipient, Thomas Theodore Loder '76.

12:30 p.m. | Picnic Lunch and Class Pictures | Common

Relax and catch up with old and new friends at lunch. Each class will be gathered for a photograph.  

 2 - 3 p.m. | Mini-courses

Take part in a GFS teacher-led mini-course:

  • Choir Concert: Exercise your vocal chords and practice with current students in preparation to sing a special song during Sunday's evening Choir concert. (5/19 at 4:30 p.m.) 
  • Magic and Games: See some clever and sophisticated tricks and play some fun games. We will break the magician's code and show you how these tricks are done so you can impress your friends and family.  
  • Printmaking: Learn how to print colorful designs and patterns on tote bags for you to take home as one-of-a-kind souvenirs.

All mini courses are appropriate for adults and kids 6 and up.

Celebrate with your class! This year reunions will be for graduation years ending in 4 and 9.

Celebrating the life of Alden Mellor (Denny) Heck '63, alumna and beloved GFS art teacher who passed away on August 20, 2023. Memorial Meeting for Worship, followed by refreshments and fellowship, 3 - 3:45 p.m.

 4:30 p.m. | GFS Spring Choir and Choral Concert | Meetinghouse

Enjoy a performance featuring GFS students.


Suggested attire for Saturday festivities: Classic GFS blue and white colors or Tiger gear. (GFS gear can be purchased at the Open Door Cafe on Saturday, May 18)
