All Germantown Friends School students, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service as we honor and commemorate his life and legacy.
We will kick off with a panel of speakers on the topic of Equity in Education—featuring Michelle Palmer, André Robert Lee '89, and Kate Garrity—followed by a full morning of workshops and volunteer opportunities, including snacks and lunch.

Building Community and Uniting the Nation.
The work of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. demonstrated that nonviolence is a sustainable solution to injustice and violence in our world, ultimately leading to the creation of the Beloved Community, where injustice ceases and love prevails.
