Boys Indoor Track
The GFS Boys Indoor Track team is another storied Tigers runner program. Athletes train on the track and in the fitness center throughout the winter season and compete locally and in New York, Boston, and Virginia. Year after year, athletes qualify for and compete at the New Balance Nationals.

Jessa is a Middle School science teacher who offers an inquiry-based life science curriculum through hands-on activities and labs. She encourages science media literacy and fluency in environmental politics. Jessa brings her expertise and experience in Marine Zoology into the classroom each day and has lead a Directed Independent Study on the topic. Jessa is also an advisor for many Middle School clubs and groups including the Gay and Straight Alliance, the Young Women Affinity Group, and the Photography Club. She also serves as a squash and track and field coach. Jessa has a BS from the University of Maryland and her Masters of Science from Cabrini College. She is a member of the National Association of Biology Teachers and the National Marine Educators Association.
