Special Features

Community Spaces

New art and computer science classrooms foster collaboration across disciplines, while lounges and meeting spaces offer a hub for community gathering.

New School Entrance

Construction of the All School Commons opened up a new entrance to campus on Greene Street, creating a welcoming space for our community.

Sustainable Design

Two green roofs on the second floor help to reduce stormwater runoff by up to 65%—preventing flooding and filtering contaminants—while also absorbing heat in the summer and increasing biodiversity. This building marks the first phase of our Sustainable Campus Plan.

Connection

The All School Commons provides connection points between the Dining Hall (formerly the Smith Gym), the Abigail R. Cohen Center for the Arts, and the Barbara & David Loeb Performing Arts Center.

Dining Facility

Open in November 2024, the new Dining Hall features huge windows that flood the space with natural sunlight, seating for over three hundred people, and a delicious and healthy menu courtesy of our dining partners Meriwether Godsey. Read more.
