Endowment Priorities
Athletics
This fund endows the Stokes Athletic Banquet, held each year to recognize senior athletes.
Auxiliary Scholarships
Recognizing that there are expenses beyond tuition associated with a GFS education, these funds support co-curricular needs of students including academic, artistic, and athletic opportunities.
Community SCholars
Since 1965, this program has enabled GFS to significantly reduce financial barriers to an extraordinary educational experience to children from Germantown and our neighboring communities. These funds provide support for students who have been designated Community Scholars.
Faculty
Educational innovation at GFS lies with our faculty, who foster the academic culture and intellectual creativity of the school. These endowed funds support faculty in a number of ways, including programming and special projects, professional development, and compensation.
Financial Aid
GFS has always strived to maintain a diverse student body, regardless of a family’s ability to afford tuition. These funds are used to provide scholarships to students with demonstrated financial need.
Our Campus
GFS prides itself on its historic campus located in the heart of Germantown. Along with regular maintenance and beautification projects, additions and enhancements are made to facilities when dictated by programmatic needs.
