Important: 2023-24 Kindergarten Applications
Due to an unusually large 2022-23 Pre-K class, we are short on Kindergarten spots for next year, and therefore cannot take any more Kindergarten applications for the 2023-2024 school year. We thank you for your interest and hope you might consider GFS for Grade 1 for 2024-25, where we do build our enrollment slightly.

The first step in the application process is to create an online inquiry and an Admissions account. Please click on a division below to get started. As you move through the application, we will help you complete the different checklist items within the process. We are currently conducting remote parent interviews via video chat, which can be scheduled as soon as you have submitted your application. We are here to help you through the process and happy to answer any questions you may have. Please contact us at admissions@germantownfriends.org.

Please Note: At GFS, students ages 5 and older are required to complete the COVID-19 vaccination. It is likely that GFS will extend the vaccine requirement to students 4 and under in the future. Exemptions from the vaccination requirement may be requested on an individual basis with the GFS Nurses. Everyone 6 months of age and older is now eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination. More information is available here: PDPH Vaccine and Booster Info

GFS is proud to award more than $6 million dollars of need based financial aid. Learn more about Financial Aid.
