Interview slots will be made available as soon as you are notified of your candidacy by A Better Chance. Unfortunately, due to the precautions around COVID-19, we are not able to host in-person "shadow day" visits to GFS.

An Admissions Director will video chat with you and your child for an interview, and you will be able to ask questions about GFS during that time. Parent and Student Interviews are scheduled for about an hour total, with approximately 15 to 30 minutes allocated for the Student Interview portion. *Please note, you must complete steps 1 through 3 above before scheduling your interview.

STEP 5

The following items must be received by January 4, 2021 to be considered for the first round of review:

Items provided to GFS Admissions by Applicant

• Official Transcripts: The Transcript Release Form should be completed by the parent/guardian and returned to the applicant's current school. The student's official academic records must include Fall 2020 grades. Please have your child’s school send the records directly to GFS before January 4, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are seeing delays in receipt of official academic records, so it’s important that Transcript Request Forms be sent to your child’s school in a timely manner once Fall 2020 grades are available.

• Unofficial Transcripts: While we require official transcripts as part of our application checklist, we will accept parent-provided unofficial transcript copies or academic records for committee review for 2021-22 applicants. However, please note: official transcripts for any admitted candidates must be on file by the time of enrollment. Please upload any unofficial transcripts or academic record copies below.

• Official SSAT Scores: Please visit the SSAT website to request scores be sent to Germantown Friends School. Our school code is 3397.
